What is reiki & how distance healing works

Reiki, an ancient healing modality

How do we connect with and use this energy?

During a reiki session, I tap into this energy through meditation and activate it to be channeled through me. I then use tenohira aka palm healing and other breathing techniques to send it into your energetic field which includes the body, soul and auric or biological Human energy field.

What does this conscious energy do?

Reiki sessions allow for healing and releasing negative, stagnant energy in and around the body. There are 7 main energy centers aka chakras in the body. The name chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “spinning vortices of energy” and they reside along the center of the body and extend outward to make up our auric field. When energy becomes stuck here, unable to flow freely, it can surface as mental, emotional or physical illnesses such as depression, anxiety, diseases, lack of direction or purpose in life, instability of finances, feelings of unsafe or unstable environments, creative blocks, communication issues and so on. By sending in reiki energy to the chakras these blocks are dissolved and cleared to allow for a smooth flow of energy running through the body. When this energy is able to flow freely, you experience an increase in overall vitality and wellbeing.

Where did this modality come from?

The modern reiki system of healing began in japan in 1923 by a buddhist scholar named mikau usui. It is heavily influenced by other ancient japanese, indian and tibetan healing modalities. It is not a form of religion or associated with any specific god or goddesses. It is a spiritual energy that is always present, it is the electricity and divine intelligence of the entire universe. 

How Distance Healing Works 

I thought reiki can only be done in person?

False! Don't worry, you’re not alone on this one… the answer lies within quantum Physics and tesla energy. 

Non-locality aka “spooky action at a distance”

Albert Einstein called quantum entanglement or non-locality “spooky action at a distance” as he did not understand its inner workings. Since his death scientists have discovered A bit more of how this energy works and its mechanics enable us to send reiki energy through time and space.

Quantum entanglement is the phenomena of a group of two or more subatomic particles and their behavior patterns. Scientists haVe studied what happens when the particles are moved to another location after they haVE been entangled with one another. After the move, scientists experimented with changing one particle's characteristics. What they found is that the other particle(s) were also instantaneously changed without any interference on their part. Their conclusion was that once particles are entangled, they are forever entangled and can be affected or changed instantly no matter how far across the universe they may go. Since everything in the universe came into being with the big bang we are all essentially forever entangled with everything in the universe and we can affect change across vast distances.

Scalar waves

Known in the mainstream as tesla energy, scalar waves affect the anatomy of space everywhere instantaneously. They do not have a velocity and therefore do not diminish or weaken in strength with distance. This makes sensing and sending reiki energy across time and space possible. 

Other reiki uses

Reiki can only be sent to living things, right?

false! As reiki is the energy in the universe and everything in our universe is energy on a quantum level, it can be sent to anything including inanimate objects to clear energy (such as your wallet, inherited jewelry, vintage clothing), food, to increase it’s effectiveness, etc. I also use a reiki box for assisting in manifesting goals or to send reiki to past or future events to enhance outcomes or clear energy.
