Dutch Apple Pie
INGREDIENTS
Pie Filling
8-10 apples
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 3 tbsp water)
1/2 C brown sugar
2 tbsp vegan butter
pinch Himalayan salt
3 tsp apple pie spice
1/8 C apple cider
Dutch Crumb Topping
1/2 C oatmeal
1/2 C flour
1/4 C walnuts, chopped finely
1/2 C coconut sugar
5 tbsp vegan butter
pinch Himalayan salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Mix all ingredients in a dutch oven and cook down for 20 min
Roll out the pie shell and place the apple mixture inside
Combine ingredients for topping in a separate bowl
Bake for one hour
